Tournaments
HollandChess.com will host its second annual statewide scholastic chess tournament on March 24, 2012, providing an exciting tournament experience for both "first-time" and "veteran" scholastic tournament players. In addition, we encourage Holland-area chess students to participate in a variety of chess tournaments that take place throughout West Michigan. For additional tournament details, please view the WestMichiganChess.com website.
NOTE: Online registration for the Holland Junior Open is now closed. All registrations must now be made at the registration desk, on the tournament site, with a registration cost of $20.

Our skittles room was large, complete with comfortable tables, chairs, and sofas. Thank you to Holland Christian High School for allowing us to hold our tournament in one of the nicest venues our tournament players have ever enjoyed! |

Wardcliff Fun Scholastic Tournament - Every April
The Wardcliff tournament in East Lansing is among the largest scholastic tournaments in the State of Michigan. Approximately 300 students of all grades participate in this tournament, and all children compete against others their own age. This is an excellent "first" tournament...we encourage as many of our club members to participate as possible. The address is Chippewa Middle School, 4000 Okemos Road, Okemos, MI 48864. Calvin College Monthly Tournaments
Typically, the first Saturday of each month a small tournament is held at Calvin College. The tournament does require a Michigan Chess Association membership. The tournament generally includes a scholastic section in the months of January through March.
